• Upgraded GMRT (uGMRT)

  The main goals of uGMRT are to upgrade the entire electronics receiver chain to allow almost seamless frequency coverage from about 100 to 1500 MHz, with a maximum instantaneous bandwidth of 400 MHz; have an improved receiver system with higher G/Tsys, accompanied by a versatile digital back-end correlator and pulsar receiver using the latest FPGA and GPU technologies; a revamped servo system; a sophisticated monitor and control system; and matching improvements in infrastructure and computing
